Why do I have to wash my hands thoroughly after applying Shoo-Kitty?
Washing your hands thoroughly after applying Shoo-Kitty eliminates any possibility of “scent association” and “accidental scent transference” to kitty’s person, food or water. To totally eliminate “scent association & transference” please use disposable gloves.
Will Shoo-Kitty stop my cat from peeing behind the washing machine or dryer?
Shoo-Kitty was not designed for this purpose, but you may try this method. Clean area first with enzymatic cleaner F.O.N. (Feline Odor Neutralizer) then push the machines close together side by side and to the wall as close as possible. Apply Simon & Iris’ Shoo-Kitty to the edges of each machine from the floor to 16 inches in height, also the adjacent wall and floor.
Can I use Shoo-Kitty Anti-Scratch Furniture Protectant to keep my cat out of the closets?
Yes, for bi-fold doors: apply Shoo-Kitty across the bottom of the doors and up the center seam where the two doors join to a height of 16 inches. For sliding doors: apply Shoo-Kitty to both the door and the jamb from the floor to a eight of 16 inches.
Will Shoo-Kitty keep my cats off the counters?
You may try, but that’s not what Shoo-Kitty was designed for. Apply Shoo-Kitty to various places of the counter top, on the back splash, and around the perimeter of the sink.
Will Shoo-Kitty keep my cat from spraying urine?
For a wall or woodwork, clean area thoroughly with enzymatic cleaner F.O.N. (Feline Odor Neutralizer) let dry and apply Shoo-Kitty on the exact spot. If spray mark is on fabric, clean first let dry then use Shoo-Kitty Fabric Furniture Tape to cover spot and then apply Shoo-Kitty to the surface of the tape.

Shoo-Kitty was designed to protect small spots on stairs and area rugs. Cover the ruined area with Shoo-Kitty Fabric Furniture Tape, and then apply Shoo-Kitty Anti-Scratch Furniture Protectant to the tape.
Will Shoo-Kitty Anti-Scratch Furniture Protectant keep my cat off the window screens?
Shoo-Kitty was not designed for this purpose and should never be used for this purpose. Incoming air will cause “total scent intrusion effect” kitty’s environment will rapidly become unpleasant, with nowhere to escape.

Apply Shoo-Kitty directly to wooden or painted blinds for fabric window treatments and blinds, cover with Simon & Iris’ Shoo-Kitty Fabric Furniture Tape first.

Shoo-kitty was not designed for this, but we have had some success with this issue. Wash sink with enzymatic cleaner, F.O.N. (Feline Odor Neutralizer) and let dry. Apply Shoo-Kitty to the rim of the sink, faucet spout and on the drain stop. The same procedure is used for tubs and shower stalls.

Yes, apply Shoo-Kitty to the edge of the cabinet door where kitty usually tries to open.

Yes, apply Shoo-Kitty Fabric Furniture Tape along the bottom hem of the drape and vertically on every fold to about a height of 24 inches. Then apply Shoo-Kitty Anty-Scratch Furniture Protectant to the tape.

Yes, apply Shoo-Kitty around the perimeter of the sole of the shoe and on the ends of the lasses.

No, Shoo-kitty Fabric Furniture Tape will not leave any sticky residue or marks behind when removed from fabrics, including silk.

Yes, please use Shoo-Kitty Fabric Furniture Tape for these types of applications. Do not apply directly to fabrics.

Yes, Shoo-Kitty can be applied directly to glass surfaces, including high polish surfaces like marble, granite and porcelain. Buff off with a clean soft cloth, Shoo-Kitty scent will remain behind as invisible protection.
